Impact Hub Taipei

Impact Hub Taipei makes sustainable impact locally. It’s the first B Corp certified co-working space, impact incubator and impact consulting in Taiwan. Impact Hub Taipei realizes the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through working with governments, corporates and social innovation organizations to catalyze positive change, to create measurable and scalable impact. In addition to operations, Impact Hub Taipei has introduced various international communities, workshops, lectures, and actively participates in a wide range of social enterprise and social innovation-related activities to connect Taiwan with the world.

This year, Impact Hub Taipei and NTU OIA are jointly launching the second edition of NTU iNGO Academy. This program not only allows students to practice sustainability through project-based learning but also provides them with the opportunity to directly intern with international non-governmental organizations (iNGOs) in Taiwan.

Entrepreneurial support and collaboration are our core pathways to pursue impact-making. Impact Hub Taipei is dedicated to incubating and accelerating both for-profit or not-for-profit organizations for a long time; therefore, we have created an innovative, diverse, and inclusive community space - NPO HUB Taipei, the first collective workspace for nonprofits in Taiwan. It leverages affordable rent to gather knowledge and strength among NPOs, connecting them with each other, and thereby amplifies their impact.

Furthermore, We also anticipate that through the process of matching each student to the organizations, it will establish mechanisms of mutual learning, nurture talents who align with future trends, support and enhance the capacity of Taiwanese international non-governmental organizations. NTU iNGO Academy connects partners from school and international non-governmental organizations in Taiwan, which will establish a network of them as well as promote sustainable local development, and internationalize the impact of iNGOs. If the participants expand their networks, and strengthen their peer connections, then they will be able to improve organizational practices and be better able to sustain a sustainable world.
